My First Baby Legs

 I had been browsing blogs when I came across this blog about making baby legs from the Dollar Store scarfs. I figured it was easy enough and wanted to give it a try myself.

One of the scarfs I bought to try making Baby Legs with. I bought 6 different colors.




 Scarf is cut in half.
 



I made the baby legs and turns out they were WAY to long for Zoey. I knew they would be but I wanted to make them long to put on her and measure them on her.




It turned out that I needed to do 1/4 of the scarf for one leg for Zoey. So I got 2 pairs of baby legs out of one scarf.After measuring and cutting Dakotah decided to put the scrap material on her arms and wear them around the house.

Miss Zoey herself in her baby legs. She slept through me trying them on her both times. My Dad & husband hate the color and think I am funny for bringing something  back from the 80s. Laugh. I think they are cute.





 


So there you have it! My efforts at baby legs. I think they came out pretty good for my first ones.

My Newest Pattern

I bought this pattern today for $1 @ JoAnn's. I am excited! I bought 6 different materials to make tank tops with then I will start making shirts like the girl is wearing. I also plan on making Dakotah some black pants like the girl has on. I have lots of pictures to upload of my projects today. I will sew and upload them between laundry.

Dakotah's Jammie Pants

I made Dakotah some new Jammie pants. You can see around her feet they are longer I made them longer to last her through the winter. I have another pair cut out right now that I am fixing to sew. Again these were made last night.

Kaelyn's Taggie Blanket



I made Kaelyn a new taggie blanket to match her pillowcase. She LOVES it. It doesn't match her other Mickey Mouse comforter but the kid doesn't care. She just cares that Mickey or Minnie is on it. I made these yesterday. I just forgot to upload pictures.

No Sew Baby Blanket

I made this last night but didn't update with a picture. It's for my best friend who is due with a baby boy in Oct 2009. I'm excited. It turned out nice. I love the size as well. I bought it in the remnant fabrics at JoAnns. I am going to make one for this baby as well. The size is the perfect size to cover them in the carseat but not hang off to much. I love it.

Kaelyn's New Toddler Bed Blanket/Comforter

I made Kaelyn a new blanket/comforter for her toddler bed. One side is a soft material. I can't remember what it is. I bought it last year. And then the other side is blizzard fleece. She is going to LOVE it.

Kaelyn's Pillow Case

I made Kaelyn a pillow case for her travel pillow. I have enough of the material left to make her a taggie blanket, but I need to buy some new ribbons for the taggie blanket. She LOVES the pillow now.
